Privacy Policy

PropPeek is a map-first Malaysian property platform that aggregates publicly available property data (bank auctions, affordable-housing schemes, and NAPIC sold-price transactions) and lets registered members publish their own property listings. • Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google to create your member profile.
• Listing content. If you create a listing, we collect the details you submit (property information, images, price, location) and the contact details (e.g. phone/WhatsApp number) you choose to display. This content, including your chosen contact details, is shown publicly on your listing.
• Enquiries / leads. If you contact a lister through the Service, we collect the name, phone number, email, and message you provide so the lister can respond to you.
• Usage and device data. We automatically collect information such as IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, and interactions, through cookies and similar technologies (including Google Analytics).
• Approximate location. We may infer your region from your IP address to comply with regional privacy and consent requirements.

We also display aggregated property data sourced from public records; that data is not personal information about you.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics (Google Analytics), and, where enabled, advertising (Google AdSense). In regulated regions we request consent before loading non-essential tags. You can change your preferences at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, and through your browser settings.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with service providers who help us run the Service, including: Supabase (authentication, database, file storage), Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), and Google (sign-in, Analytics, AdSense, and Maps/geocoding). Listing content and the contact details you choose to display are shown publicly. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Listings are intended to be public. When your listing is published, its details and the contact information you provide are visible to anyone and may be indexed by search engines. Do not include information in a listing that you do not wish to be public.

We retain your account and listing data while your account is active. Enquiry/lead records are retained for a limited period (approximately 24 months) and then expire. If you delete your account, your member profile and the listings you own are removed from our database (note that copies may persist briefly in backups and in third-party caches such as search engines).

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent, or request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise these rights, email us at proppeek.com@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our service providers may process and store data on servers located outside Malaysia. Where this occurs, we take steps intended to ensure your data continues to be protected consistent with this policy.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
